Delete your account in the app
This applies to the MyTribeERP and MyTribeERP Gate apps for iOS and Android, and to app.mytribeerp.com.
- Sign in to MyTribeERP.
- Open Account.
- Under Privacy, choose Request account deletion.
- Read what will happen, then confirm with Send request.
You are signed out on your other devices straight away. The request goes to the office of each estate you belong to, because each estate is responsible for its own records, and the estate office completes it.
If you cannot sign in
Email hello@mytribeerp.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Account deletion request and the name of your estate. Do not send your password. We will confirm the request comes from you, then pass it to your estate office and help them complete it.
You can also ask your estate office directly.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number and email address are removed from the estate's records.
- You are signed out everywhere, and you can no longer sign in to the account.
What is kept, and why
Some records must stay so that the estate's accounts and decisions remain complete and checkable, as the law and the estate's rules require. These are kept, but show "Former member" instead of your name:
- payments, bills, receipts and the estate's financial records;
- votes, attendance and meeting records (in a secret ballot nobody can see how you voted, before or after deletion); and
- the audit trail, which keeps only a pseudonymous reference to you.
Financial and audit records are kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, then deleted. The estate office may also need to keep your details for a while, for example during an open dispute. If so, they will tell you.
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until they expire, currently about 7 days.
